Sleep Inn Carlisle South

Just what I expected, a basic room with a basic breakfast at a budget price. Nothing fancy but a clean, easy in and out motel.

I left a few items there and Tracy was a sweetheart and able to send it back to me. I'm so grateful for them. I will be staying here again. The pool was nice and warm on a nice chilly evening swim. It was great. Great time with your family. Just a beautiful, nice quiet place. 5 out of 5 definitely would recommend

My review is simply for the lovely breakfast attendant. She always goes above and beyond. Its clear by the way she handles herself that she is trained to be "the help". I have been there. Apologizing, looking away from guests eyes in certain situations, watching, waiting from her distance. This woman is much more than "the help". She cares. She greets, she cleans, she takes your plates. She does her BEST to make you smile, to make your children smile. My kiddo was crying. We were the only guests out of our rooms so she played my kiddo some quiet music. A while later an older guest entered the breakfast area and complained that music was on. (This guest caused other issues the day prior in the pool area, she was clearly just having her own issues) . The attendant turned the music off, Apologized and made sure the other guest was happy and found what they needed. She then came back to us and sang to our little one who was upset to be in a new place. She made it a lovely breakfast. The whole area was spotless. She has been there everytime we have stayed there the last few years and has ALWAYS made sure our morning was pleasant. I hope this review is shown to her. Youre appreciated! We are local. We have seen you commuting to work on occasion, with a smile. You're doing great.

Was very clean. Free breakfast. Nice pool open 7am to 10pm. Vending machines have lots of good options honestly. It's right behind the cracker barrel. I really do like this hotel. My only complaint was they knocked on the door at 1045am to ask if I was leaving yet. Like y'all see me going back and forth to the car. It was a little rude but I totally understand that You need to clean the room. But come on, wait at least until 11:05 lol they weren't even cleaning the rooms at all when I was leaving so what's the rush? It was a regular weekend, it wasn't a holiday and it wasn't packed. It's not like the parking lot was full or anything.

I have stayed here for 1 year on a regular basis because it’s the best!! Sam, you have been SO wonderful, caring & compassionate! Also your employees Tracy, Mandy & Kim ( from last year) & the morning breakfast lady also were always so caring like you! All of you always asked about my daughter & showed concern for me knowing I had such a long drive. My rooms were always spotless & you made sure that w/my disability that I was accommodated! My daughter is no longer at that facility. I wanted to tell you that I thank you & appreciate you all. You guys are the best & will never be forgotten. God bless you all! Found from Interstate coupon flyer. Great choice. Nice new site. Food close by. The nicest, cleanest pool I have experienced in a hotel in a long time. Great pool hours 7-11. Good breakfast @ 6:30. Nice room. Convenient to highway. I would definitely stay here again.

I’m gonna say I was surprised. After staying at sleep inn down in Florida and it being pretty rough I have to say they’re not all created equal. The room was very clean and all of the staff were very nice. The maids did make way too much noise in the hallway between talking loudly and slamming doors. The juice machine could use a good cleaning because it smells fermented from the drain under it. Everything else was very nice. The indoor pool was warm and very clean and didn’t seem to be overloaded with chlorine. Nice little workout room and some vending machines. I had a great stay.

Hotel is right off the Carlyle exit so easily located. The rooms are neat and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was typical but the clean up person was helpful and quick to assist with clean up.
